Pampered Chef Fund-raiser

We are getting very close to sentencing……March 24th at 9am.  We have raised just over $8000.  We are so grateful for your contributions.  The concern, of course, is that it will take much more than that to mount an appeal.  As a result we will be looking for a variety of ways to do fundraising.  We are looking at hosting an event with a silent auction. 

In the meantime, we were  approached by David Gelatt , a Pampered Chef consultant who had worked with Joy at Ephrata Playhouse.  David has generously offered to contribute his commission to Justice for Joy and we will also received a donation from Pampered Chef.

Hello, I followed this trial from the start in the paper. I'm still disturbed at the outcome the jury decided upon and how quick it came about. It's actually scarey to think about the evidence that was given in court and the verdict that was decided so quick. I'm embarrassed about the verdict of the minds of people of Lancaster County. I hope that myself or anyone of my family and close friends never gets in the situation to be tried in a Lancaster County court because people don't know the definition of "beyond a reasonable doubt". That's it, you don't even have to look past those 4 words. End of story! I'm sorry for Joy and her family in this situation. Chris Patterson is an excellent attornery and he did what he could do. The jurors will have to live with this for the rest of their lives! Murder is the "INTENT"! I'm done!
