John 16:22  "Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice,
and no one will take away your Joy."
We all support and love Joy O'Shea Woomer. This isn't over...no one will take away our Joy.

For Nurses

Welcome Nurses!

As you know, Joy is a nurse and has been since 1983.  Joy was watching a new patient providing in home care, when he died.  The death of this young boy, who was chronically ill with cerebral palsy, was tragic.  After an autopsy showed that he had morphine in his body, Joy was automatically suspected.  Joy did not know this boy, as it was the first time she watched him, and even though none of her patients had any missing morphine (and Joy was a home care nurse only; she did not work in a hospital, where she might have access to drugs), Joy was charged and convicted.

There was no direct evidence that Joy committed this crime, only suspicion.  Since Joy was a nurse, it was assumed that she was the one who injected the child with morphine, even though she was not the only person who was present in the home that evening.

The life that Joy has lived is the only evidence she can produce to show that she did not, and could not, commit such a horrible crime.  Please help us help Joy and consider donating to her defense.  Even a small donation is greatly appreciated.
